A lullaby is a gentle piece usually sung to lull a baby to sleep. Played on open strings, this piece provides an opportunity to develop tone production and bow control.
This piece features the โupside-downโ bow, a repeating rhythmic pattern which places the strong beat on alternate bows.
String crossings on both down & up bows allow the student to experience a variety of spatial movement with the bow.
