Playing Possums

Written with a lively calypso feel, Bananas is based on a recurring 2-bar rhythmic pattern and introduces bow re-takes at the frog.

This piece is notated for first finger and open strings across all instruments, making it very suitable for the student beginning left-hand finger placement.

Bananas is written in Ternary Form with 2-part melody lines in the first & third sections and a Call & Response in the middle section.
